Re: Can't connect at all (DHCP)

You know what, after putting this much work into just getting my computer up and running and still no luck, I think I've decided to go back to ubuntu (Kubuntu to be more specific).

I've learned a lot just from toying around with the settings and what not, and maybe some day I'll come back and give this another shot.  But right now, its just not working for me and I need my computer to be working for when school starts up soon.

Thank you to everyone who offered my advice and help in this thread and in others!

Re: Can't connect at all (DHCP)

Care to give one last try smile Just try the latest installer. If that doesn't work, then switch.

It's just that after discovering Arch, I wouldn't imagine switching to a distro like ubuntu tongue

Re: Can't connect at all (DHCP)

Just wanted to pop in and say that I'm having the same exact problem on my Kubuntu install using dhclient.

Needless to say, if I can find the solution, I'll be back.
