Hey
gnome-power-manager doesn't show estimated time in hours:minuts, only in percentage, when it's discharging. When I used KDE the power manager showed hours:minutes fine.
I know gnome-power-manager works on this laptop since it worked with Ubuntu.
Anyone have a fix or is it possible to use KDE's power manager in GNOME?
Regards
Casper.

KDE's power manager wont look nice in the gnome bar. Look for another gnome battery life applet or check the preferences of the applet.

i just use yacpi, it's a console app

Just "acpi" in the console gives you the info. For some reason, KDE's battery plasmoid doesn't show me the estimated time either.

ther should be a setting to change from percentage to estimated time:
gconf-editor -> apps -> gnome-power-manager
