Problem installing KDE on Arch

I was installing KDE 4.3 on Arch. It downloaded everything, but when it comes to installing it gives out a bunch of errors like these:

sh: error while loading shared libraries: libreadline.so.5: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory
error: command failed to execute correctly

I do have readline installed, I even did pacman -Sy readline, it says it will reinstall, but then gives the same error.

Anyone knows what could I do?

Re: Problem installing KDE on Arch

This may be a noob question, but after having that problem i turned off the VM. Now, trying to turn it back on, every time it asks me for a runlevel. I tried 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, but every time it says "entering runlevel x. no more processes in this level" and then won't let me do or type anything. Any help?
(fallback would ask me the same thing)
