leafpad 0.7.5 package updated

leafpad 0.7.5 has been released so I updated my PKGBUILD and rebuilt it.  The package and associated files are at http://singleton.homeunix.org/arch/ and as always it's pretty slow but leafpad is pretty small so...

Oh! thanks a lot! big_smile

I have reading this, but the original source can't be downloaded because the user quotas are full.

leafpad is perfect for editing configuration files big_smile

Re: leafpad 0.7.5 package updated

Hi, you're welcome - glad that it's useful to someone besides me smile.  Leafpad is a nice little editor.

By the way, I mirrored the source as well if you did want to build it yourself - the author has been exceeding his bandwidth lately so...

The copy is at http://singleton.homeunix.org/arch/src/ … 7.5.tar.gz

hiho.

maybe u should inform the dev, that u are maintaining a mirror and an arch-pkg,
so that he can link it on the gnomefiles-page ...

tarot only has 10mb/day for hosting ... that's used up quite quickly, moreover
since osnews seems to LIKE leafpad very much.

Re: leafpad 0.7.5 package updated

Well, I'll email him and see if it would be useful - he should probably look for a better solution long term tho.  I think Leafpad will probably keep gaining in popularity as long as he doesn't give in to feature bloat.  My 'mirror' is actually just my nat box so while it does have virtually unlimited bandwidth it's not the most reliable of hosting solutions.  It's up most of the time but I do reboot it or work on it occasionally.  Add to that the fact that it's a ten+ year old 486 and who knows what'll happen tomorrow smile

What does it do exactly?  I use Leafpad every day pretty much and it works OK.  Is it just to use the gtk+ dialogs?  That would be cool I guess, I'll see about it as soon as Tarot's site resets.
