Backup and restore /

Is there a way I can backup my / partition and restore it onto a new drive? I'm fitting a larger drive into my server and would like to avoid the hassle of reinstalling...

Thanks.

Re: Backup and restore /

there are lots of ways to backup your partitions.  Clonezilla probably works well for what you're trying to accomplish.

Thanks for the reply guys. I actually ended up reinstalling and just pulling a few config files and my pacman cache off the old drive. I've never really bothered backing up before, but its something I should definitely be thinking about!
