Extended Partitions

I am curious to know if anyone knows how many extended partitions are supported using Cfdisk? I know it starts count with 5, as in sda5, but where does it end?

Re: Extended Partitions

Hello RagePie!

You can have 4 primary partition, so extended partition too. But in an extended partition you can have more logical partition, i don't the exact number just for tip it's 20 just about, but you can test with a quick creation.
