How can I translate the installation guide to Croatian?

Hello. I would like to translate the installation guide to Croatian, but I don't know how to begin or even if I am allowed to do it.
I would appreciate any help or additional information.

New languages are always a good thing. That being said - iIt's a wiki, everyone can edit it. Register an account and hack away.

As for the editing itself, there's a tutorial.

EDIT: I think this might be of particular interest to you. Also, I just found out that you can't link from the official install guide to a translation, since editing it is not allowed - though you could still translate the beginner's guide.

I just found out that you can't link from the official install guide to a translation, since editing it is not allowed - though you could still translate the beginner's guide.

You can still translate the installation guide, but you will need to submit the translation as a feature request, as the document is under the control of the developer team.
