Hi,
I recently got new machine, decided to try some new stuff, I was following http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ins … AID_or_LVM with small difference, that on /dev/sda1 I have installed Windows 7 and on /dev/sdb1 I have second NTFS partition, free for now. Install went quite fine, I can chroot into new system and it works.
I did http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ins … _config.29 - more exactly:
grub> root (hd0,1)
grub> setup (hd0)
grub> quit
he recognized filesystem on (hd0,1) that's my /boot partition, on setup he said he found /grub/menu.lst and rest of output was also looking OK, but after restart it doesn't start, machine goes straight into windows... Any ideas how to bring the menu? I have Arch 64, boot partition starts around 66GB, but bios supports and have LBA enabled - rest of setup is like in wiki just with one NTFS partition in front.
Thanks in advance for any help,
Giniu.

edit: hmm... by some reason disc numbers in grub are other than I expected (first disc in windows was second in grub and other way around, cannot find other explanation), when I installed grub to second drive (skipping restart from guide) it worked...
