Battery meter

Ok, This may not belong here but im gunna do it anyway, like riley.

Is there anyway to have the batter meter(acpi) constantly show on the top or bottom of the screen? im not using x, only command line.

also is there a programming term for doing something like that?

U know how nano has upper and lower toolbars? i wanna do something like that

Well, you can use screen and pipe the output of 'acpi' to the screen hard statusline.
