I have a big issue:
Now i have arch linux ...but for my kob i need programs like Macromedia Flash,dreamweaver,Photoshop...etc....etc....Photoshop can be replaced by Gimp, dreamwweaver by bluefish or scream....but flash.... :shock:
Now...i want photoshop.i put the cd and run
wine /mnt/cd/setup.exe
.waiting....
setup....bla bla ...bla
....error...i mean it just stoped....Ok
Then Flash...
wine /mnt/blabla
...installing macromedia flash..please wait.................................................................................................................................................................
nothing ...and i am waiting....i think my wine is f****d up..... :evil: so...(i have to remind u that wine from your ftp is corrupted..please go and verify the archive!!!!!!!!)....now...to unistall wine and installing again=a few hours....i can try winex...but where can i find it (free!!!!)

You do not want Windows or just not want to boot in Windows? That's the question to ask if we don't find Linux softwares to replace.
Myself I am depended on Quicken and MS Excel. To avoid booting Windows, I am using Win4Lin to run Window'98 within Linux (Arch). Its not free (US$ 89.99). There is also VMWare but the license is costly. I made one Arch package for Win4Lin5. If you want to try, get a 30 days free trial licence.

WineX is no longer free - transgaming started charging for it or something lame like that and called it "cedega"

yeah, I use VMWare. Mostly use it to test linux distros lately, and to run software dev arch instances (web test mostly)
