Automatically turning off compositing in KDE 4.3

Hi,
I have revently installed catalyst and I have noticed that every restart compositing is disabled. I have to reenable it and then it works nice.
Why is that?

System settings-> Desktop-> Turn on compositing and select "Scaling" feature in effects. That works for me. Try...

Hi, I don't have an ATI card so I can't help you with your problem but there is a plasmoid to easily toggle compositing on and off that might make your life easier while you wait for a fix. http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.ph … tent=78299
