The integrated (Motherboard: DG965WH) sound card works just great with:
[andrius@desktop ~]$ uname -a
Linux desktop 2.6.29-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed May 20 06:42:43 UTC 2009 x86_64 Intel(R) Pentium(R) D CPU 3.40GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux
but when I upgrade kernel to newest (by now: kernel26-2.6.30.5-1) or just one release up it brakes my sound card line in and Mic input. Sound output works just fine. Something I had noticed is that there is no Analog loopback anymore (in newer kernel releases) and in order to have line in working (at least now) I have to keep it switched on (unmuted).
My alsa-info.sh output: http://www.alsa-project.org/db/?f=1442c … 890d902a57
Already tried all models (options snd-hda-intel model=5stack/3stack/ref/dell.. in /etc/modprobe.d/sound.conf) with no success.
Googled for several days - no success.
Currently I'm downgraded with pacman -U because of my tv-tuner.
This is my first bug (?) report (in ~5 years of linux using), so help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
