Tried playing Warsow and had a missing lib so went to make a link to the 7 package. Looking at lib the so.7 is missing and is showing under files that get installed but is missing from the lib dir. Is this a broken package?

Hello.
You can try to recompile game package ![]()

It's present in my system with the same package version. Maybe try reinstalling the package.

That's not a 'proper' solution, so try rebuilding the package first.

I meant the symlinking. Symlinking libs to make an app work is not a proper solution, the proper solution is to rebuild the app in question so it looks for the new version. ![]()

Never link libraries! There is a reason if the soname changes.
Use ABS and submit a bugreport.
