Missing ACPI events on MSI Wind

Hi folks. Arch is working quite well on my MSI Wind but I am having a few issues.

I run "tail -f /var/log/messages.log" as suggested in the wiki and I can see some events but closing/opening the lid shows nothing. Also, the Fn-keys for volume up/down/mute do not create any events and Fn-F10 produces a little plus/minus symbol in the terminal and no event.

What might I be missing here? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Missing ACPI events on MSI Wind

Check with acpi_listen (acpid package) for lid events. You have to bind those Fn-keys to events, use xev to get the keycodes and then xmodmap to bind (http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ext … ys_in_Xorg).
