LXDE works fine in Root user but not in non root user

LXDE is working fine with the root user.

I can add application  and my menu also shows all the items. And any changes saved for desktop or panels are saved

But for non root user no menu items, no applicaiton show for adding.

Can any one tell us

Run 'groups' as the user.
