the screen is totally black

I install Arch in VMware, however, the vmware-tools does not work, so I remove all the relative directories, I did this many times before, and no problem at all.

Tonight, don't know why, I remove vmware-tools again, but this time the Arch can not launch into KDE, the screen is totally black, how can i fix it? thanks for reply.

Do you even get to the login manager (if you use any)? I mean.. it might be an xorg problem - there has been quite a few of those lately.

Yes, I did use command 'sudo systemsettings' to enable auto login, so is there any way to fix it? thanks.
