LCD Screen Brightness Question

Hi,

Had no idea where to post this...

Sadly, I've always used CRT monitors. I just recently got 2 LCD Monitors, 2 20" Acers. The screen went through the auto config to set the brightness/contrast/gamma etc. I'm using a Radeon 9250 video card.

The screens are so bright...is that just something to get used to, for the most part?

Re: LCD Screen Brightness Question

Hello playdafunkimuzic!

Is it an analog/digital lcd ? Can you set it with menu realted buttons if it has got ? Is it work normally under other distribution/operating_system ? How did you get the xorg.conf ? Which kernel/driver/X do you use ?

Re: LCD Screen Brightness Question

They're two digital LCD's. The monitor has an auto config button that sets everything for you. After a day, I've gotten used to the brightness. Everything is great now; thanks.
