Hi!
Since the recent gstreamer update (0.10.23 to 0.10.24) including the plugins amarok-git is only able to play a single file. It has to be closed to play the next one. I already recompiled amarok-git but that didn´t help.
Is this a gstreamer or a amarok problem?

Hello draugdel!
What's the symptom or event when you try to play it after the previous ? Is there any error output/log ? did you try to start it from console then see the stdout/stderr ?

Hi djszapi!
There is no event. Amarok switches to the next track and then just stops doing anything. It still responds, so I can switch to different tracks, but it never starts playing another song.
I tried it with "amarok --debug" on the command line but there was no specific error output, as far as I can see. I uploaded it anyway, maybe I am just blind. ![]()
Thanks
€: It just started playing another song after around 5 minutes of silence. I am going to test some more. ![]()

switching to phonon-xine backend solves the problem
Arch 64 / AMD PhenomII X4 940 / Nvidia integrated or ATI Radeon depending upon X.Org driver bugs! (main rig)
Arch 64 / AMD E-350 / HP DM1z (laptop)
