Protocol for removing/marking wiki page as obsolete?

In particular I'm thinking of Wireless autodetection, which hasn't been updated since 2007 and applies to netcfg<v.2.0. But I'm asking about the appropriate general policy.

Should I just go in and edit the page and delete everything? Or instead mark it with some flag to announce it's obsolete? Which flag?

{{accuracy}}

? That doesn't say anything about being outdated.

You can add this:

{{Message_box|
id    = out of date|
backgroundcolor    = beige|
signalcolor    = beige|
signal    = [[Image:Tango-dialog-warning.png]]|
heading = This article is out of date.|
message = It contains dated information.}}

ok, thanks---did you just search for another out of date page and pull it from there?

The Category:Template page has all the templates on it.  It can be found in Wikihelp > Help:Template > Category:Template.
