problem with notify-osd

i downloaded notify-osd-bzr from aur, everything works except that the notifies doesn't come at top right corner but more in the right center, how can one fix this?

You should notify the notify osd devs for that on launchpad.

This is actually a feature - not a bug.  The way to restore having the notification display in the top right is to open the source tarball and edit the src/bubble.c file, and replace PLACEMENT_NEW with PLACEMENT_OLD (before compiling & installing the package).  They changed it and are taking in user feedback in a mailing list/on Ubuntu Brainstorm.  However, there is also a bug opened in Launchpad, yet it may not count for much.
