sd* + hd* = scsi ? :-)

ATA HDD, bios 2001 year
Install - netinstall 2009-08 - "legacy IDE (no SATA)"

fstab (generated by installer)
..
/dev/hda10 / ext3 defaults 0 1
/dev/hda9 swap swap defaults 0 0

lilo (grab - error 18) (other distr)
..
image="/mnt/hda10/boot/vmlinuz26"
    label="Arch"
    initrd="/mnt/hda10/boot/kernel26.img"
    root=/dev/hda10
    read-only

Load..
..
SCSI device
not found sd*
kernel panic

Arch only one of the tested distrib, which does not recognize hdd
How do I fix?

I too have an old machine without any SCSI/SATA on it, but the default install boot option worked fine for me and assigned my ATA disk an sda value. If your install doesn't currently boot, maybe try to install booting from the first option?
