gspca_spca500 gspca_main drivers for old Intel CS630 camera

Hello,

I have this old camera from Intel, model CS630 and I wanted to give it a try and use it with arch linux as a webcam. According to what I have checked, gspca_spca500 gspca_main drivers are its drivers (and I could diff the lsmod outputs as well to confirm that).

It isn't associating any /dev/videoX file to it though. How would I use it?

Thanks

Re: gspca_spca500 gspca_main drivers for old Intel CS630 camera

BTW this is dmesg output:

usb 2-6: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 6
usb 2-6: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
gspca: probing 8086:0630
gspca: probe ok
gspca: probing 8086:0630
gspca: disconnect complete

note that I don't disconnect the webcam, the messages above are given whenever I connect my camera to the usb. looks like it is disconnecting itself?!?!?
