found this nice tool while i was googling for a solution to record last.fm streams:

Have you tried to install this yourself? My guess is that it will not work.

The software was last updated in June of 2008.

Last.fm, meanwhile, introduced changes to their radio API, limiting it to paid subscribers. This broke the streaming functionality in most clients.
