Hi !
I'm a totally newbie on ArchLinux, but I'm an experienced user with some other distros.
The thing is that :
On Arch, this morning, I wanted to upgrade my system like everyday, but I had a dependecies problem... this is it :
yanis@B3nd3r:~$ sudo pacman -Syu
:: Synchronisation des bases de données de paquets...
core est à jour;
community est à jour;
extra est à jour;
archlinuxfr est à jour;
:: Début de la mise à jour complète du système...
:: Remplacer kdemultimedia-libkcddb par extra/kdemultimedia-kioslave ? [O/n] o
Résolution des dépendances...
Recherche des conflits possibles entre paquets...
Erreur: la préparation de la transaction a échoué (la satisfaction des dépendances a échoué)
:: initscripts-extras-fbsplash: requiert initscripts=2009.07
What can I do ?
I can't find the newest version of initscripts...
Thanks all !

initscripts-extras-fbsplash needs initscripts version 2009.07. only that version. pacman tries to update initscripts 2009.08. this is the reason you can't update. upgrading first that package(which is an unsupported package) should solve the problem or remove it.

Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

still you have only one. yaourt is just a bash script that handle downloading, untar and makepkg and at the end is using pacman -U package.pkg.tar.gz

Great, thanks !
I'll see this a little more precisely in few days.
Thanks !
PS : Can you say me how good is my English ? Because I'm french and I don't know if I speak correctly...

Your English is okay, although one can tell you're no native speaker .
In the future, if you post problems, run your programs with
LANG=C
in front of it, so the program will output in English instead of French (which, for an overwhelming majority on these forums, is not understandable ).
