Pressed hibernate, and can't boot...

Hey,

I accidently pressed Gnome's hibernate button on my Laptop having never set up any hibernation/sleep options.

Its now slightly borked, when booting it goes into a 'ramfs' prompt complaining that my root file system is missing. The root file system is LUKS encrypted, and this prompt appears before cryptsetup prompts me for a password.

Is there anyway I can wipe the hibernation state and just do a clean/normal boot? I can login to the live cd and manually decrypt the drive, but I have no idea how to remove the damage the hibernation button inflicted.

Thanks for any help.

Hello tntcoda!

What's the error output while it gives back a ramfs prompt ? Is the any related information/warning/error in the syslog ? Do you have backup ?
