[SOLVED] Wine+Openbox+Catalyst Minimise/Restore Error

Interesting piece of misbehaviour:

1) Install Guild Wars in Wine
2) Play Guild Wars
3) Click on GW's panel entry to minimise GW
4) Click on GW's panel entry to restore GW
5) GW disappears from panel, does not appear on-screen, yet GW's audio can still be heard
6) Kill GW
7) Run GW
8) GW can be heard, but cannot be seen (on-screen or on the panel)
9) Problem is only fixed by uninstalling Wine, removing .wine, reinstalling wine, and reinstalling GW

This error occurs with both tint2 and pypanel, so I'm not convinced it's to do with the panel.
I'm unable to filter anything down enough through Google to find any solutions. This is a similar error, except I don't get GW on my panel either.

Anyone have any ideas as to why this might be occurring, or even a potential solution/workaround?

I'm using Arch x86_64, Catalyst 9.8, and the latest version of bin32-wine (1.1.29).

EDIT: Upon further research, I found this entry in the Wine Bugzilla. Exact same bug as me. No solution; workaround is to restore the 3-5GB Gw.dat file from a backup.
EDIT 2: The bug is also present in bin32-wine-stable. What a cow.

Solution: It seems to have been fixed in the months since I encountered it.
