[SOLVED]wma support for banshee

Hey guys,
I just installed banshee with all the extra gstreamers and it works like a charm, the only problem  though is that it won't play wma files. Is there a certain plugin that must be installed for it to work? When I used other distros banshee would automatically install the plugins, so I don't really know the name of the plugin. I was wondering If you guys know the name so I can get it off of pacman. Thank you

Re: [SOLVED]wma support for banshee

There we go ty, I tried typing in gstreamer-ffmpeg like in many of the google articles and pacman couldn't find anything, I didn't know that that was its name. I don't think many people knew the name b/c people used synaptic as a graphic repository and didn't need to write the name. Thank you B for all the help that you have given me today! smile

You're welcome... If you appreciate my and other people's help, then google, the arch wiki, the arch forum search function and the pacman man page should be the bible for the days or weeks to come.

Also, allow me to advise you to put all your topics in the Newbie Corner for the time being smile.
