Hi!
After I upgraded fuse to new version 2.8.0, truecrypt stoped working. When I try to mount a crypted volume I get the message:
Socket not connected: /tmp/.truecrypt_aux_mnt1/control
ls -la /tmp shows:
d????????? ? ? ? ? ? .truecrypt_aux_mnt1/
d????????? ? ? ? ? ? .truecrypt_aux_mnt2/
d????????? ? ? ? ? ? .truecrypt_aux_mnt3/
d????????? ? ? ? ? ? .truecrypt_aux_mnt4/
d????????? ? ? ? ? ? .truecrypt_aux_mnt5/
Can anyone confirm this problem?

Hi Michael,
I can confirm this problem. Exactly the same situation exists for me.
After downgrading fuse to older version everything works perfect again.
I wanted to report a bug to fuse team, but there's no info about bug reporting @ http://fuse.sourceforge.net
Is any of arch developers reading this forum? Maybe he/she could help

I've written a mail to the mailing list of the fuse devels.
I'll write here if I get some new info.

Same here, I got "Error: Transport endpoint is not connected: xxxx"
After downgrading fuse it works again. Meanwhile i put IgnorePkg = fuse in pacman.conf.
Don't panic!

I have exactly the same issue after upgrading to latest fuse build 2.8.0-1. Downgrading to fuse 2.7.4-3 fixed the problem for me.

this fuse-2.8.0-1 package doesn't work with truecrypt 6.2a on fresh 2.6.31 kernel either... (x86_64)

Hey there,
my system also tells me this after the last pacman -Syu:
Transport endpoint is not connected:
/tmp/.truecrypt_aux_mnt4/control
ls -la /tmp gives me the same as Bevan...
I will try to downgrade fuse too...

upgrading truecrypt to truecrypt-6.2a-2 makes it works with fuse-2.8.0-1 and ... do math.
At least for 2.6.31 x86_64
SOLVED?

After upgrading truecrypt to version 6.2a-2 all works nice for me with kernel 2.6.30.6-1, too.
I say it's solved.

Yepp, the new truecrypt solves the issue for me as well.

It's definitely fixed.
@ Andrwe: Maybe you should leave a small message on fuse-devel and tell them that it was a distribution specific problem.
Thanks

I've done it now but the fuse-developer have fixed this problem, too.
With the new version of fuse 2.8.1 truecrypt 6.2a-1 works again.
So we have now 2 ways to fix it, either update truecrypt or fuse.
Both updates don't hinder each other neither.
