Shtting Down/Restart leads to logout!

hi,
i installed archlinux a few days ago. It works really well, and i'm really impressed. However, there's a small problem. When i shut down or restart from the desktop, it just logs out and returns to the login or gdm.
Could someone please help and explain what's wrong?

Thanks!:)

It may be a permissions problem.  Which groups does the user belong to?

Re: Shtting Down/Restart leads to logout!

Hi,
well, i checked it in the gnome permissions dialog box, and there was one of the options of shutdown where it was requiring admin access. I changed it to active console and now it seems to be fine.

THanks.

How do I open the Gnome permissions dialog box?

Can't shutdown either.
