Got myself a Samsung CLP-315 colour laser printer, runs fine on single pages with the Foomatic/foo2qpdl (recommended) driver.
However, on any print jobs with two or more pages it insists on printing a narrow black line at the bottom of page 1+.
This is a pain and I wondered if anybody else was experiencing similar problems...

Hi seiichiro0185,
thanks for your info. So it is not the driver or linux but the printer itself... Time I read the manual
Things that come to mind immediately:
- give the toner a good shake
- adjust the paper tray properly
Let's see whether I can get this thing going properly...

It appears it was down to Printer Options in CUPS.
But first I had to install a new driver 'cos the packages foo2zjs-315 and foo2zjs in AUR are flagged out of date and did not install anyway. So new driver from http://foo2qpdl.rkkda.com/, followed the very simple installation instructions and adjusted Printer Options in CUPS as follows:
Bingo, black lines have disappeared.
