Re: QT application on openbox

Have you tried 'qtconfig'.  You can change the theme for Qt applications.

Unfortunately, Qt-only themes are limited. It worked better as soon as I did install some KDE-theme. But I have no idea how this could be accomplished without installing a KDE system.

It should work, however. I only never tried. wink

Re: QT application on openbox

Launch "qtconfig" (it's bundled with the "qt" package) and select "GTK+" theme. That way, your qt apps will match the rest of your system's appearance (which I assume is probably gtk2-based?).

Hope it helps!:)

Right. But does not work for qt3config.

Re: QT application on openbox

True. Didn't look into gambas' dependencies...

Then, the easiest solution is probably installing "qtcurve" and selecting it for both qt3, qt4 and gtk. That way your apps SHOULD look the same (I have never used qtcurve, so I'm not really sure... hmm).

Re: QT application on openbox

Openbox has no relationship to GTK+ or Qt. It uses neither.

And you cannot tell Gambas2 to use GTK+... an application is written using one widget toolkit or another, or rarely both.

Re: QT application on openbox

I did not try these wiki tips yet, but maybe it helps: Having trouble making your Qt applications use QGtkStyle?
