hello,
until recently i frequently played with my PS2 by hooking it up with my WinTV PCI card.
i simply probed bttv and used xawtv as the displaying app.
well, soon after i updated my kernel to 2.6.9-ARCH it stopped working completely. strange is that it also hangs my machine after i try to play with the settings to get at least some visuals. first i thought it could be that the nvidia driver is the troublemaker but after trying the offical package from nvidia.com and downgrading to 2.6.8.1 nothing changed.
this is what my /var/log/error tells me about this:

after the last line the crash/hang orccured.
i haven't changed anything hardware releated since the update of my kernel.
does anybody know a workaround for this? or could if be that my card just broke?

ok, i solved it. i simply put the card into another pci slot and it works fine again now.
as it seems other cards work in the "broken" one though.
