hi to all

i have thefollowing problem on my laptop.

when i press the dedicated key monitor's brightness become 0, then if i press key again, brightness suddenly to the right value
and this is in a circle. if i press again brightness s key that become 0, then if i press key again brightness become to the right value

another more important problem is:

if i want to reduce the brightness by right key i can't because it increases instead of decreasing !!!!

Re: brightness problems

try setting your brightness with xbacklight. I had the same problem on a very old toshiba. I just made some shortcuts to xbacklight with xbindkeys.

They say that if you play a Win cd backward you hear satanic messages. That's nothing! 'cause if you play it forwards, it installs windows.
