Bug?: Setting label for an ecrypted root partition results in error

I noticed this when I was installing Arch the other day (for the first time) and was wondering if anyone had ran into this problem. I set up my root partition as a dm-crypt partition with a label of "arch_crypt", so I was expecting it to be setup at /dev/mapper/arch_crypt. Looking at the /etc/fstab, the installer felt the same because there was an entry for mounting /dev/mapper/arch_crypt to /.

However, during the first boot, fsck complained of an error, and I noticed that the encrypted partition was actually set at /dev/mapper/root.

Is this a limitation with mkinitcpio? Did someone forget to do something in the installer? My fault?  (It really doesn't matter to me what the label is, I just thought I'd point it out.)
