Whenever I start Conky, CPU usage goes up ~30%. Last updated (Syu) the system yesterday, but I didn't restart till today, when I noticed. Googled and found something similar on a Debian list, but no solution, similar for Ubuntu, the guy just rebooted and it was fine (tried it, no such luck). What's weird is that neither Conky nor htop are reporting Conky using up the cycles - in fact, nothing is - but the CPU usage total is +30%. Perhaps they're reporting wrong? Latest everything is installed (kernel, X, Intel video drivers, Conky itself).

I removed the lines dealing with MOC, problem disappeared. I wonder if it's a bug or not...

I had the same issue. Something else was causing the problem with my configuration. I have an HP ProBook 4410s laptop, and I display its sensor information using hwmon.
To display the temperature of the graphics core, I use:
${color grey}GFX:$color${hwmon 0 temp 1}
Enabling it raises conky's CPU usage to ~30%. Disabling it fixes the problem.
