Has anyone set up something similiar on Arch, or even borrowed it from Ubuntu directly?

Huh ? You mean bash-completion ?

Ah, nevermind, I just installed "bash-completion" and sourced /etc/bash_completion in my .bashrc file. (It was the second step that I hadn't done yet...)
Ubuntu's /etc/bash_completion looks quite a bit larger, but I suppose it's easy to just copy it over if need be. ssh and pacman completion works though, which are probably some of the most useful. Also limitting completion to directories with cd is a relief.
