Wireless problems

Hi I would like to try out Arch Linux, but I have some problems with my wireless network hmm

My problem is that I can't connect to my home network.. I can get a nice list of all available networks including my own with:

iwlist ra0 scan | less

And I get no error when I setting the essid and key:

iwconfig ra0 essid tux key xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

But when I try to get a d*** ip with dhcpcd I get a time out error mad

Can it be a problem with my key? It's a 26 characters HEX decimal...

And yes I have up'ed my ra0 smile

Re: Wireless problems

Are you using a WEP key or a WPA key? If you use WPA, look at the wiki: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/WPA_Supplicant
