Hey guys,
Totally new with linux, and took the huge leap with arch, because I love the minimalistic aproach. I'm on an eeepc 1000he, and would like to check out twofishes' kernel. I downloaded the pkg.tar.gz and used pacman to install it, but I have no idea what else to do. If there's anything else I need to do with kernel compelation to update to 2.6.31, or any modifications to GRUB I need to do, I'm clueless. A little direction for a lost noob?

On a 1000he, you don't really need TwoFishes' kernel. Everything works out of the box hardware wise.
Be sure to use:

Yeah I got that going.
Even if I don't need twofishes I wouldn't mind knowing how to set it up

Again, that kernel is made for Eee 701, but here are the instructions:

scie, bloodyensose, FYI, it's Toofishes, not Twofishes ![]()

That explains why my searches for "twofish kernel" came up with nothing helpful ![]()
