Mythtv with Arch

Has anyone used Arch to install Mythtv or do I need to use one of the Mythtv distro's? (mythbuntu,linhes..etc...)

Been using Arch for a couple of years for a myth backend.  It's perfect for it.  But then.. Arch is perfect for everything lol

Here's a full backend build thread including wake on lan etc.  Documented to the nth degree.  Some of the info may be out of date now but it could be of use.

Still, .21 is very functional, and may give you some practice playing with it.  My wife didn't want that "ugly computer" (it isn't, it's in a beautiful Silverstone case wink ) in the front room when I started, now if the mythtv goes down for some reason it's a major issue.....It's easy to get spoiled.
