ATI Card Slow with OpenGL (Blender) [SOLVED]

I have been using Arch for a while now, and my ATI Mobility X1300 has been behaving itself very nicely with the openradeon driver. Yet I am a blenderhead and I haven't actually looked into working on Arch until today. To my dismay, Blender is really really slow, slower than it is on Windows and Ubuntu. I haven't customized my driver settings at all, so I am wondering if there are any tweaks that would allow me to get snappier OpenGL performance.

Τry xf86-video-ati-git and delete the xorg.conf. See if the problem persists.

Actually, disabling triple buffering in Blender fixed the problem for me.
