Might be wrong forum section, but this seemed the most logical place. Forgive me if it's totally wrong.
Simple question: Can I have OpenGL support on my LiveUSB? That is, without installing drivers and doing lots of config every time I take it to a new computer?
I'd like to have Openbox + xcompmgr, but the latter seems to require OpenGL.

As long as you have mesa+libgl+<driver>-dri installed on your liveusb, and the appropriate default xorg.conf/no xorg.conf, it should work.

But doesn't that mean that I'd need the drivers for the specific cards of the computers I take the usb drive to? Would be kinda troublesome to install and configure new drivers and stuff every time..

You could keep in /var/pkg/pacman/cache all the necessary drivers and when you arrive at the computer just pacman -R and pacman -U the desired files and restart xorg.

Um, why not just install mesa, libgl, the group xorg-video-drivers, and all the -dri's:
ati-dri
intel-dri
mach64-dri
mga-dri
r128-dri
savage-dri
sis-dri
tdfx-dri
trident-dri
unichrome-dri
Assuming your live USB has no xorg.conf file, everything should be properly auto-detected, as composite, dri, glx etc. are all default now.

Ok guys, thanks for your suggestions, I'll read up on them more closely before doing any drastic stuff
