ndiswrapper issues after upgrade

I'm sorry if this is a repost, but I couldn't find anyone with the same question and hardware when I searched the forums or elsewhere (including the ndiswrapper troubleshooting page or the archwiki for wireless install), so here's my issue:
I was able to connect to my wireless network for a while, and then I upgraded and now I can't.

I've been using ndiswrapper with my WMP300N v.1 card.
The driver is still listed when I ndiswrapper -l, but ifconfig does not display wlan0 in its output, nor does iwlist scan.
I have checked my rc.conf and ndiswrapper is still the first thing in my modules list.

dmesg | grep ndiswrapper

gives me (loosely, I'm running back and forth between computers here but I'm hoping that will suffice)

usbcore: registered new device ndiswrapper

I feel like there's something really simple I'm missing but I'm not sure what.
The card still works when I boot in Windows.
