Hey guys,
I just recently put Arch on my laptop and it's the first time I've ever messed with wireless network in Arch. At the moment I know how to get a connection up and running, but it would be nice if I had a program that would allow me to view all wireless networks that are detected by my wireless card.
Any suggestions? I've tried searching for some, but haven't quite found one yet.
Thanks in advance!
EDIT: This always seems to happen, I found an answer to my own problem. If anyone else is interested, "iwconfig scan" will output a list of detected networks across all interfaces.

wicd is great.
it supports profiles, and is quite fast.
it doesn't look super awesome... but im sure you can search around and find some way to change the look.
and it has a nice little icon for the system tray. very useful and user friendly.

if you don't mind the dependencies network-manager seems to suit my needs... but i believe wicd is more lightweight
