if you're using hal, it'll start automatically, BUT if you have problems with it not shutting down properly, add it before hal.

Really, I can understand the Supreme Court's rulings. Afterall, corporations are people just like us, with love and feelings, hopes and dreams, and a limited lifespan to do it all in... oh wait, nevermind. I was thinking of same-sex marriage.

And, if you ever add it before hal in the DAEMONS array, do not background it (as well as hal itself). It must be up and running because hal checks for it and will try to install it twice when not found running already, which might cause nasty misfunctions.
