Video configs on BIOS changed

Hello.

I have this little annoying issue in my laptop: When I start my Arch session (I have my disk partitioned with Win7 and Arch), everything runs well for 2 seconds or so, and then the screen goes dimming, like if it was configured on saving-power mode.

I return to Win and the configuration is the same (dimmed), so review the BIOS and yes, the brightness options were changed to minimum.

Searching in the forum, I've found some problems related to the Acpid Daemon. But according to the Wiki, if you have Hal specified in rc.conf you don't need to add Acpid.

So, what can it be? This is not a problem present since the installation. My Arch was working just fine.

My laptop is

Dell XPS M1330
Intel GM965
