Arch Mobile

However....

by that far some of you may have noticed, that in fact I am much better in 3D modelling than in setting up Linux on strange devices

Next time I hope it will look more realistic

If you're not careful you're going to get roped into actually producing the device   In all seriousness though, nice work.  Very, very nice work (about a billion times better than I could have done ).

I'd personally would like to have a similiar device, however I haven't found anything that I could install Arch on, and still have a valid warranty (OpenMoko does not count. With all respect, it is just ugly). So at least I could have a nice photo/rendering with my dreams' handset .

It's possible to install Debian on rooted HTC phones so really I don't see why Arch couldn't be either.
And no I will not use my Hero as a guinea pig

Sure, but your warranty will be void in such case (I asked HTC ans Samsung directly about that), so for example if your display stop working, they'll tell you "Sorry, your system broke it" . Not nice.
