[SOLVED] Firefox BBC IPlayer Blank Screen

Hi

I'm using Firefox 3.5.3 with Flash 10.0 r32 libflashplayer.so, about:plugins shows the flash installed. Only recently when I use the BBC IPlayer I experience a blank screen which looks like this:

[url http://iplayerhelp.external.bbc.co.uk/h … nk_screen]

It runs ok on Chrome and also if I run Firefox as root (which ain't gonna happen). Other flash sites are fine, youtube etc.

I've followed the advice on the BBC web site and re-installed flash-plugin. Also tried the Arch Wiki and changed the permissions

# chmod 755 /usr/lib/mozilla
# chmod 755 /usr/lib/mozilla/extensions
# chmod 755 /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins

Running in safemode also gives the blank screen so doesn't seem to be ad-block or no-script. I'm thinking it's a permission issue as it will run in firefox as sudo (I'm avoiding doing that!).

Cleared cache and most of the obvious tips. BBC? FF? Arch? Any more ideas or anyone else experiencing the same?

[Update] After much trying I was able to get the IPlayer back by deleting my profile, seems to be ok. Maybe my profile got corrupted...
