I downloaded Kompzer web editor. And I extracted it to my home directory. I clicked on the kompozer script in the folder and nothing happened. How do I run kompozer? I've installed in other distros. What am I missing here?

kompozer is in the aur,
assuming you have yaourt( http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Yaourt ) installed,
do
yaourt -S kompozer

How do I edit PKGBUILD?. This is confusing. How can I just install Kompozer?

kompozer is in the aur
I could have sworn I tried to install this with yaourt a few days ago and it wasn't in AUR. Oh well, it's there now... and now I have it installed !
Thanks,

thanks... now it's sending out lines and lines of text for the last five minutes! is it installing from source code or something? it's still running now. Are you sure this is the way to install Kompozer? Should it take 5-10 minutes to install? it's like its stuck in a loop and just keeps putting out verbiage without completing the install.
is there a better way to install? I don't think this one is working.

Yes it is installing from source and yes, it is normal that it takes "long" and outputs a whole bunch of text. Have a look at http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/AUR if you want to know more details.

Just wait... It will be finished.
If there is any errors, post them on aur page so maintainer can fix it.

True. I've only been using Arch for about a week so there's a really good chance I did something wrong when I looked for the package in yaourt the first time .
Thanks,
