Community repo - how to contact maintainers? (pulseaudio)

I'm interested in the pulseaudio set of packages, which haven't been updated in quite a while (at 0.9.15 now, release is 0.9.18), along with its helper apps. I understand the new community repo is maintained by TUs instead of devs. However, since there's no more AUR pages for the packages in community, I'm unsure how else to request for an update of the package besides the small 'flag package out of date' button available for all repo packages (which has been set previously, at least a couple of weeks back by someone else).

Basically, do I try to contact the maintainer directly via the PKGBUILD-derived email address from ABS, or do I post a topic here etc.?

This page has TUs on it too.... http://www.archlinux.org/developers/   from memory there was a note on the old AUR page about this package not being updated as newer versions were bringing more trouble than good...

Hi Allan/wonder.

So it is acceptable for me to bug the TUs directly? Or file a bug? I was under the impression that bugs should not be submitted for out-of-date packages.

Am unsure what the problems are with the new PA versions, I'm running pulseaudio 0.9.18 currently (from pulseaudio-git) as I had to test some fixes to bugs I'd reported to them. Only thing I remember having to do was set my CHOST to something else (x86_64_pc_unknown_linux or something of the nature).
