Problem with pacman....

Hi again.

When running most of the pacman commands i receive the following response:

error: failed to init transaction (unable to lock database) if you're sure a package manager is not already running, you can remove /var/lib/pacman/db.lck

Tried different things, but not beeing able to solve this...

Thanks for the help smile

PS. running on a ASUS EEE PC 900 and KDEMOD

Re: Problem with pacman....

To remove the db.lck file, type:

rm /var/lib/pacman/db.lck

Be sure to do this with superuser priviliges (i.e. as root or use sudo).
